Svetlana Bondarenko, famous Ukrainian breaststroke swimmer, she was presenting her country in 3 consecutive Olympic Games: 1996 (4th in 100m breaststroke), 2000 and 2004; number of World and European Championships.
She got silver in both 100m and 200m breaststroke events in Rio 1995, bronze in 100m breaststroke in Gothenburg 1997 World Championships;
She was the fastest in 100m breaststroke in Madrid (2004 European Championships, LC), silver medalist in 100 m breaststroke in 1991, 1993, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2002 European LC Championships, 200m breaststroke in 1995, 50m breaststroke in 2002, 4x100m medley in 2004 European LC Championships; she was also bronze medalist in 100 m breaststroke in 2000 and 4x100m medley in 2002 European LC Championships and 100m breaststroke in 1998 European SC Championships;
Summer Universiade counts 2 gold medals: 200m breaststroke in Buffalo 1993 and 100m breaststroke in Catania 1997 and 2 silver: 100m breaststroke in Buffalo 1993 and 200m breaststroke in Catania 1997;
In her interview she mentioned she never counts her medals, she has more than 120 gold medals and national records from the USSR and Ukraine championships; Svetlana is still in a great shape and now breaking European records in masters’ category!
Oleksii Fedina competed in seven events at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing winning five medals, three of them gold. His gold medals came in the 50m freestyle, 100m breaststroke and 200m medley setting WORLD RECORDS in each of the events in the process… 2012 Summer Paralympics in London: he was the fastest in 100 breaststroke bringing GOLD to his team and third in 50m freestyle… Among his recent achievements: Gold medal 100m breaststroke 2015 IPC World Championships, Glasgow
Lyubov Korol’ was presenting Ukraine on I FINA Youth World Swimming Championships in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She was the fastest swimmer in 50m butterfly (27.38); she is national record holder in 100m butterfly (58.24); another national record with her name on it is 4×50m medley relay the Ukrainian team set in Croatia during the European Championship 2008
Ihor Borysyk, famous Ukrainian breaststroke swimmer, his medal records include gold in 100 m breaststroke and silver in 200m breaststroke 2008 World Championships Manchester, gold in 100m breaststroke in both 2007 and 2008, silver in 200m breaststroke in 2012, bronze in 100m breaststroke in 2204 and 2009, 200m breaststroke in 2008 European Championships; he also got 2 Universiade gold medals in Belgrade; in 2009 Ukraine Cup, he broke 100m breaststroke World Record set by Kosuke Kitajima, multiple Olympic gold medalist, this record was not officially recognized due to absence of certified doing laboratory during the meet. He is Ukrainian record holder in 100m and 200m breaststroke both short and long courses
Olga Mukomol won three medals at the LEN European Aquatics Championships of 2000–2004.
She also competed at the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics. In 2004 she set a national record in the 50 m freestyle that stood for five years.
She was also in a medley relay team (with Svitlana Bondarenko) setting national record in 2002 (still not broken)
Rostyslav Svanidze was presenting Ukraine in two consecutive Olympic Games (1996 and 2000); he was in top 16 in 100 m freestyle at his Olympic debut in Atlanta (1996). Being a member of National team, Svanidze competed in 1994 World Championship, 1993, 1999 European Championships, 1991 Universiade; won a total of 37 swimming titles in middle-distance freestyle (100 and 200 m), and in freestyle relays (400 and 800 m) including the title of USSR Champion!
Nataliya Zolotukhina was presenting Ukraine in 1996 Olympic Games (100m & 200m butterfly), 1995 World Championship getting into semi-finals; 1995 European Championship; she also got her bronze medal in 1999 World Universiade
Illya Chuyev was presenting his country in Men’s 200m butterfly in 2012 London Olympics; later that year he became national champion in 200m butterfly and second fastest in both 50m and 100m butterfly. He also competed in 2007 and 2008 European Championships
Olena Hrytsyuk was specialized in sprint butterfly events; she set several national records. In 1991 European championships she got her gold in 4x100m medley relay; however, in 2000 Summer Olympics teaming with Nadiya Beshevli, Svitlana Bondarenko, and Valentyna Trehub in heat three, Hrystyuk swam the butterfly leg and recorded a split of 1:02.77, but the Ukrainians settled only for seventh place…
Senior coach
Irina has a title of Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus. She has been the winner and medallist of the Belorussian and Lithuanian National Championships in 100m backstroke and 200m backstroke.
She was the finalist of Polish and Ukrainian Championships also.
In addition, she took part in many International and European competitions, where she became the winner, medallist as well as finalist.
Irina was a member of the BLR National Swim Team in 2008-2009.
She lived, studied and trained in Poland during the period of 2009 to 2015, where was a member of polish swimming club.
Irina is American Heart Association certified Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED provider. We are lucky to have such a dedicated coach as Irina Samakar on board of Nautilus coaching team.
Senior coach
Alexandra one of the top swimmers of Belarus. Throughout her career, she has been a winner and medalist of the Belorussian, Lithuanian, and Latvian National Championships in 100m backstroke, 200m backstroke, and 50m butterfly. She was the finalist in 4*100m freestyle on 30th European Championships in Budapest, Hungary. She was also a finalist in 4*50m medley of the European Short Course Championships 2009 in Eindhoven, Netherlands. She was a member of the BLR Swimming National Team from 2006 to 2017. Her 200m Backstroke short course National record stands for 12 years and has not been beaten yet. Alexandra has graduated from Olympic Reserve College, has been coaching at Alexandra Herasimena’s (triple Olympic medalist, World and European Champion) Swim Club in Minsk, Belarus. She is excited to train swimmers at the fantastic facilities of Al Batinah International School
Coach
Anastasiya has loved swimming all her life. Throughout her competitive swimming career, she swam at the national level, winning numerous medals in 100m and 200m freestyle. Anastasiya has a title of Master of Sport, which equates to national champion. She has graduated from Belarus State Physical Culture University, specialty Swimming Coach. Anastasiya has been coaching kids and adults of all ages and abilities.
She was the finalist of Polish and Ukrainian Championships also.
In addition, she took part in many International and European competitions, where she became the winner, medallist as well as finalist.
Irina was a member of the BLR National Swim Team in 2008-2009.

Coach
Valiantsina has constantly been involved in swimming throughout her life. She has graduate from Grodno State University of Physical Culture and has been coaching at Olympic Reserve School. Coach Valiantsina has also graduated from Medical College and has an ability to react rapidly in dangerous situations.
